COBIT® 5 Foundation provides an introduction to the COBIT 5 framework for governance and management of enterprise IT. Developed by ISACA, COBIT is a globally recognised framework used by organisations to ensure that IT delivers value, manages risk, and supports business objectives.
This three-day course covers the COBIT 5 principles, enablers, and process model, giving delegates a solid grounding in how to use COBIT to assess, improve, and govern IT across an enterprise.
Note: COBIT 5 is the predecessor to COBIT 2019. While COBIT 2019 is the current version, COBIT 5 remains widely used and its Foundation certification is still sought by organisations running COBIT 5-based governance programmes.
By the end of this course, delegates will be able to:
– Explain the five principles of COBIT 5
– Describe the COBIT 5 enablers and how they support governance
– Understand the COBIT 5 process model and its domains
– Distinguish between governance and management in an IT context
– Apply COBIT 5 concepts to common IT governance and management challenges
– Prepare for the COBIT 5 Foundation examination
This course is suitable for:

There are no formal prerequisites. Some experience in IT management or governance is beneficial.
