The DevSecOps Foundation from the DevOps Institute introduces the principles and practices of integrating security into DevOps – the shift from ‘security at the end’ to ‘security everywhere’ in the software development and delivery lifecycle.
This two-day course covers the DevSecOps philosophy, threat modelling, security testing automation, vulnerability management, compliance as code, and the cultural changes needed to make security a shared responsibility across development, operations, and security teams.
By the end of this course, delegates will be able to:
– Explain DevSecOps principles and the shift-left security approach
– Describe how security is integrated into CI/CD pipelines
– Understand threat modelling and vulnerability management in a DevOps context
– Apply security automation and ‘compliance as code’ concepts
– Prepare for the DevSecOps Foundation examination
