The BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis is one of the most respected professional qualifications in business analysis. Awarded by BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, the Diploma is achieved by completing a series of modular examinations covering the breadth of BA competence – from strategic analysis and requirements engineering through to business process modelling and stakeholder engagement.
The programme is structured to allow candidates to build the qualification module by module, typically over 12 months. BrightOak delivers each module as a standalone accredited course, and can guide delegates through the full pathway to Diploma completion.

Candidates completing the full Diploma pathway will be able to:
– Apply a wide range of business analysis techniques across the BA lifecycle
– Elicit, document, and validate requirements to professional standards
– Model and improve business processes using recognised methods
– Engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels
– Contribute to strategic decision-making and business change
– Demonstrate professional BA competence recognised internationally
This programme is suitable for:
– Business analysts seeking a recognised professional qualification
– Senior analysts, lead BAs, and BA managers
– Anyone building towards BCS membership or Chartered IT Professional (CITP) status
Candidates must hold the BCS Foundation Certificate in Business Analysis (or Organisational Behaviour Foundation as an alternative entry point) before progressing to the advanced modules.
The Diploma requires:
– Three advanced module examinations (each 2.5 hours, scenario-based, open-book)
– One oral exam with BCS assessors
All module exams are administered by BCS and included in the relevant module course fees. The oral exam is booked separately via BCS.

– Business Relationship Management Professional (BRMP)
