The EXIN Information Security Management Professional based on ISO/IEC 27001 (ISMP) develops the knowledge and skills needed to implement, manage, and improve an Information Security Management System (ISMS). Building on the ISFS Foundation, this three-day course examines how organisations establish, maintain, and continually improve their information security posture in line with ISO/IEC 27001.
The course covers risk assessment and treatment, controls selection, ISMS implementation, audit and review, and how to manage information security as an ongoing discipline.
By the end of this course, delegates will be able to:
– Describe the requirements of ISO/IEC 27001 and how to implement them
– Conduct information security risk assessments and select appropriate controls
– Design and manage an Information Security Management System (ISMS)
– Apply ISO/IEC 27002 controls in practice
– Prepare for the EXIN ISMP examination
