The EXIN Lean IT Kaizen certification develops practical Lean improvement skills for IT professionals. Kaizen – meaning ‘change for the better’ – is the Lean practice of continuous, incremental improvement, typically delivered through focused Kaizen events.
This three-day course covers the Kaizen mindset, how to plan and facilitate Kaizen workshops, A3 problem-solving methodology, root cause analysis, and how to sustain improvements over time. It is the practical level on the EXIN Lean IT pathway, sitting above Foundation and below Leadership.
By the end of this course, delegates will be able to:
– Plan and facilitate a Kaizen improvement event
– Apply A3 and root cause analysis techniques to IT problems
– Use value stream mapping to identify and prioritise improvement opportunities
– Sustain improvements and embed a Kaizen culture
