The ITIL® 4 Strategist: Digital & IT Strategy (DITS) course is one of two modules required to achieve the ITIL® 4 Strategic Leader designation. It elevates ITIL concepts to a strategic level, focusing on how digital technology and IT strategy influence – and are influenced by – wider business strategy.
Delivered over three days, the course explores how organisations can respond to digital disruption, develop a compelling digital vision, and execute a strategy that drives sustainable competitive advantage. It introduces strategic tools such as PESTLE and SWOT analysis, digital positioning, and the role of IT in achieving business outcomes.
DITS is designed for senior IT leaders and aspiring C-suite professionals who need to operate at the intersection of technology and business strategy.
