The DevOps Leader (DOL)® from the DevOps Institute is designed for those who lead DevOps transformation – from individual team leaders to CIOs and heads of engineering. Where the DevOps Foundation focuses on understanding, the DevOps Leader focuses on enabling and driving change.
This two-day course covers the human and organisational dimensions of DevOps: understanding what drives high-performing teams, creating a DevOps culture, overcoming resistance to change, leading distributed teams, and measuring transformation progress. It is built around the latest research on organisational performance in technology organisations.
By the end of this course, delegates will be able to:
– Explain the leadership behaviours that enable DevOps transformation
– Describe how to create and sustain a DevOps culture
– Apply organisational change approaches to DevOps adoption
– Measure DevOps success using the DORA metrics and related frameworks
– Lead distributed and cross-functional DevOps teams effectively
– Prepare for the DevOps Leader examination
