The PDC Value Stream Mapping certification is a practical and applied certification program that covers process design, assessment, and improvement using Lean principles. It provides individuals with the necessary knowledge and skills to identify and eliminate waste, shorten lead and cycle times, and improve flow across the IT value chain. Candidates will learn value stream mapping techniques, including current state mapping, future state mapping, and value stream design. Upon completion, individuals will be equipped to drive continuous improvement within their organizations by optimizing processes, reducing waste, and improving flow.

There are no prerequisites for this certification. It is recommended (but not required) that candidates first complete the Lean IT Essentials certification.
This course prepares participants for the PDC Value Stream Mapping Certification examination.
