The PRINCE2 Agile® Foundation course teaches you how to apply the PRINCE2 project management framework alongside Agile delivery methods – combining the governance and control of PRINCE2 with the flexibility and speed of Agile.
Delivered over three days, the course introduces the key concepts of PRINCE2 Agile, including how PRINCE2 themes, processes, and principles are adapted to work in Agile environments. It covers the Agile behaviours, concepts, and techniques that PRINCE2 practitioners need when managing projects delivered through Scrum, Kanban, or other Agile approaches.
The course prepares you for the PRINCE2 Agile® Foundation examination and provides the foundation for progressing to the Practitioner level.
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
– Understand the PRINCE2 Agile framework and how PRINCE2 and Agile work together
– Describe the PRINCE2 Agile behaviours, concepts, and techniques
– Explain how to flex and tailor PRINCE2 principles, themes, and processes in Agile contexts
– Understand the role of the Agilometer in assessing the suitability of Agile approaches
– Apply Scrum and Kanban concepts within a PRINCE2 governance structure
– Prepare for the PRINCE2 Agile® Foundation examination
This course is suitable for:
– Project managers working in or moving to Agile environments
– Agile practitioners who want to apply PRINCE2 governance to their projects
– PRINCE2 Practitioners looking to extend their skills into Agile delivery
– Anyone involved in delivering projects using a combination of structured and Agile methods
There are no formal prerequisites for the PRINCE2 Agile® Foundation course.
Familiarity with either PRINCE2 or Agile methods is beneficial but not required. Note: To take the PRINCE2 Agile® Practitioner examination, you will need a current PRINCE2 Foundation certificate.
This course prepares you for the PRINCE2 Agile® Foundation examination, administered by PeopleCert.
– Format: 50 multiple-choice questions, closed-book
– Duration: 40 minutes
– Pass mark: 55% (28 out of 50)
– Exam delivery: Online proctored or paper-based at an authorised test centre
