The PRINCE2 Agile® Practitioner course builds on Foundation level knowledge by focusing on the application and tailoring of PRINCE2 Agile in real project environments. Delivered over two days, it develops the skills needed to adapt PRINCE2 themes, processes, and principles to work effectively alongside Agile delivery methods in a range of project contexts.
The course involves scenario-based learning and prepares candidates to demonstrate their ability to apply PRINCE2 Agile in practice – which is exactly what the Practitioner examination tests.
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
– Apply PRINCE2 Agile principles, themes, and processes in practical project scenarios
– Tailor PRINCE2 Agile to suit different project types, team sizes, and delivery contexts
– Manage the interface between PRINCE2 governance and Agile delivery teams
– Apply the Agilometer and assess the appropriateness of Agile approaches
– Manage the PRINCE2 Agile starting up, directing, and managing layers in Agile environments
– Prepare for the PRINCE2 Agile® Practitioner examination
This course is designed for:
– Project managers with PRINCE2 Foundation and Agile experience
– PRINCE2 Practitioners moving to Agile delivery environments
– Senior Agile team members taking on project management responsibilities
– Anyone wanting to demonstrate applied PRINCE2 Agile competence
The following prerequisites are required for the PRINCE2 Agile® Practitioner:
– A current PRINCE2® Foundation certificate (or PRINCE2 Agile® Foundation certificate)
Practical experience of either PRINCE2 or Agile project delivery is strongly recommended.
This course prepares you for the PRINCE2 Agile® Practitioner examination, administered by PeopleCert.
– Format: Objective testing using scenario-based questions, open-book (PRINCE2 Agile manual only)
– Duration: 2.5 hours
– Pass mark: 55%
– Exam delivery: Online proctored or paper-based at an authorised test centre
