The SDI® Service Desk Manager (SDM) certification recognises the management competencies, knowledge, and responsibilities required to lead and develop a professional IT service desk.

Delivered over four days, the course covers the full range of service desk management skills: people management, performance measurement, service strategy, process improvement, stakeholder management, and how to develop a high-performing service desk team.

The SDM certification is the benchmark qualification for service desk managers and is widely recognised by employers across the IT industry.

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Apply effective management and leadership practices to a service desk team
  • Design, implement, and improve service desk processes and workflows
  • Measure and report on service desk performance using appropriate metrics
