The PRINCE2 Agile® Foundation & Practitioner is a five-day combined programme delivering both PRINCE2 Agile certifications in a single, continuous learning experience. It is the most efficient route to full PRINCE2 Agile qualification – bridging structured PRINCE2 project governance with Agile delivery frameworks.
The programme begins with the three-day Foundation course, establishing how PRINCE2 and Agile work together – covering the behaviours, concepts, and techniques that enable effective Agile project delivery within a PRINCE2 governance structure. Delegates then move directly into the two-day Practitioner course, developing the ability to apply and tailor the PRINCE2 Agile framework in real, complex project environments.
Both examinations are included. Completing the full programme in one block maximises learning continuity and significantly reduces time out of the business compared to attending the two courses separately.
By the end of this programme, delegates will be able to:
– Understand the PRINCE2 Agile framework and how PRINCE2 and Agile work together
– Explain the key Agile concepts, behaviours, and techniques used within a PRINCE2 context
– Apply PRINCE2 Agile principles to real project scenarios
– Tailor the PRINCE2 Agile framework to suit different project environments and contexts
– Use Agile delivery techniques including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean within a PRINCE2 governance structure
– Manage the interface between project-level governance and Agile delivery teams
– Prepare effectively for both the Foundation (objective test) and Practitioner (scenario-based) examinations

There are no formal prerequisites for the Foundation element of this programme.
To sit the Practitioner examination, delegates must hold one of the following (the Foundation exam taken during this programme satisfies this requirement):
– PRINCE2 Agile® Foundation
– PRINCE2® Foundation (any edition from 6th onwards)
– Project Management Qualification (PMQ) or equivalent
Two examinations are included, both administered by PeopleCert:
PRINCE2 Agile® Foundation (day 3):
– 50 questions, multiple-choice, closed-book
– 40 minutes | Pass mark: 55% (28/50)
PRINCE2 Agile® Practitioner (day 5):
– Objective test, scenario-based, open-book
– 150 minutes (2.5 hours) | Pass mark: 60%
– Open book: official PRINCE2 Agile® publication permitted
Both exam vouchers are included, valid for 12 months, available 24/7 online.

– Practice exam papers for both Foundation and Practitioner
– Two online examination vouchers (12 months each)
Note: for the Practitioner open-book exam, delegates will need access to the official PRINCE2 Agile® publication. This is included in the course materials.
